Preserve Eastside Affordability Campaign works to preserve housing affordability in East Austin neighborhoods in order to slow down the rate of displacement of low income families and preserve income and age diversity in the neighborhood.

This is done by assisting long-time and/or low income Eastside homeowners with current property tax obligations as well as by providing wrap around services.

EAC supports the businesses of East Austin with a pilot Legacy Business program for businesses that have existed for at least 20 years.

Nature

Amigos de Parque Zaragoza supports the Parque Zaragoza Rec Center and their efforts to provide a beautiful green space for the community to benefit from and enjoy.

This is done by bringing the community together through park activities, returning cherished, old traditions, as well as creating new ones. The goal is to preserve Parque Zaragoza’s legacy to tell its story as a place of celebration and unity.
